Upon joining you will be charged a £6 joining fee and from October 2024 £1 per month for membership. 

To join Right Way Credit Union, you must live within the West of Scotland, Postcodes: PA, G, ML and KA.

For loan applications, first time borrowers (new members) are required to be savings for a least 8 weeks (2 consecutive months) before applying for a loan. You must be aged 18 or over and have been a resident of the UK for at least 12 months. For a full list of our Loan Ts&Cs please Click Here

We regret we cannot accept the following: TV License, Bank Guarantee Cards/Credit, Debit, Solo or Electron cards/Mobile phone bill/Business cards/Wage slip

If you are unable to produce the above we may, in restricted circumstances, accept a letter of recommendation from a reputable source, e.g. doctor, social worker, religious leader. Ask for more details.

How we use your personal information –

Right Way Credit Union may process, transfer and/or share personal information in the following ways:

For legal reasons

• Confirm your identity
• Perform activity for the prevention of financial crime
• Carry out internal and external auditing
• Record basic information about you on a register of members

Upon joining you may be asked to provide your bank details, this is not mandatory at this stage, however we will need you bank details to – Carry out share withdrawal requests and pay out any loans that have been passed.

We will only pay into the account that is provided upon joining, if you change your bank details you will contact the office to update your account for security.
