Karen joined the Right Way Credit Union (RWCU) in 2003 as a volunteer and over the years has progressed to the role of chief executive officer.
Karen is currently studying at UWS undertaking a BA Honours in Business Management.
Karen’s background is in Office Management and Accounts and has undertaken further personal development training in Financial Capability Building and Credit Union development, graduating as a Credit Union Development Educator – Edinburgh Class 2012.
Karen is responsible for the strategic management, development and day to day operational running of the Right Way Credit Union. This includes a firm focus on financial education and building thrift amongst members through the development and promotion of great low cost financial services and products.
Louise started in 2007 as a volunteer and has a strong background in Accounting (HND Accounts).
In 2009 she successfully gained employment with Right Way Credit Union.
As the office manager Louise is responsible for the day to day smooth running of the office and the Customer Services (shop floor activities), training of new staff/volunteers and supporting the CEO, in addition to being an experienced Loans Officer.
Calum started as a volunteer with the Right Way Credit Union and then joined the team as a full-time employee in 2013.
Calum has a background in retail management but excelled within the credit union in the Credit Committee Department. He has shown support to members who are struggling with repayments by negotiating more affordable repayment plans and helping with budget planning.
Paula joined Right Way Credit Union in June 2015 and has a strong background in marketing communications having studied advertising and PR. Paula also has a strong background in customer service and working with the public.
Paula is currently studying at UWS undertaking a BA Honours in Business Management.
Paula maintains Right Way Credit Union’s website and social media channels as well as arranging events that promote the benefits of the credit union. Paula also creates all our marketing materials and our online promotional content.
Pauline joined Right Way in 2023, and has a history of working and volunteering with Right Way Credit Union. Pauline has over a decade of experience when it comes to customer service. Pauline’s role is to support and assist our visiting members.
Pauline is responsible for our front counter operations as well as new member services and support.
Laura joined Right Way Credit Union in July 2022, prior to this she has over 10 years’ experience in Retail Management.
Currently studying towards a BACC in Accounting at UWS, where she hopes the skills she learns at the credit union will help her in the future of accounting.
Having experience in different fields from PVH UK to Morgan Stanley this has helped her grow her confidence, and her business understanding. Strong background in finance has helped her understand the role of Credit Controller.
