Karen started with Right Way Credit Union in 2003 as a dedicated volunteer in Renfrew, and over the years, she has worked her way up to the role of Chief Executive Officer. With a strong background in Office Management and Accounts, Karen has continuously enhanced her expertise, recently earning a BA in Business Management from the University of the West of Scotland.
Karen’s leadership is key to the strategic growth and development of Right Way Credit Union. She is responsible for steering the organisation towards its long-term goals, with a particular focus on financial education and promoting thrift among members.
Under Karen’s guidance, the credit union has expanded its range of low-cost financial services and products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our members and community. Karen’s commitment to innovation and member support has been instrumental in shaping the future of Right Way Credit Union.
Louise has been with Right Way Credit Union since 2007 and began as a dedicated volunteer, bringing with her a strong background in Accounting (HND Accounts). In 2009, her commitment and expertise earned her a well-deserved role within the team.
As the Office Manager of our Paisley branch, Louise plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Paisley branch. Her responsibilities extend to overseeing member services, where she ensures that every member receives the highest level of support.
Louise is instrumental in the training and development of new staff and volunteers, sharing her wealth of knowledge to strengthen the team.
In addition to operational duties, Louise is an experienced Loans Officer, providing support to members throughout the loan application process. Her diverse role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and excellence of our operations in our Paisley branch.
Marketing and Business Development Officer
Paula joined Right Way Credit Union in June 2015, bringing with her a strong background in marketing communications, having studied Advertising and PR. With a keen eye for detail and a solid foundation in customer service, Paula plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic journey of the credit union alongside our CEO, Karen.
Obtaining her BA in Business Management at University West of Scotland alongside working full-time. She is instrumental in maintaining Right Way’s online presence, managing our website and social media channels, and leading a growing marketing function that includes collaboration with Content Creator, Roisin Jones. Together, they ensure consistent and engaging communication with members through creative and data-informed content.
Paula also leads in the creation of all marketing materials and online promotional content, helping to raise awareness of the credit union’s products and services. In addition, Paula organises events that highlight the value of our services, further driving the growth and community outreach of Right Way Credit Union
Calum’s journey with Right Way Credit Union began as a volunteer in our Paisley branch before he officially joined the team as a full-time employee in 2013. With a background in retail management, Calum quickly found his stride within the Credit Committee Department, where his strong commitment to supporting our members was apparent.
 As a Loan Officer in our Paisley branch, Calum excels in working with members who are looking to borrow or discuss their loan options. He is recognised for his ability to guide members through the loan application process with care and expertise, ensuring members understand their options and feel supported every step of the way. Calum’s dedication to providing this support reflects the core values of Right Way, making a meaningful difference in the lives of the members he serves.
Natasha joined our Greenock branch in 2020, bringing over 16 years of experience in the customer service sector. With a history of employment in finance and a previous management role, she has developed a strong foundation in customer service, which she now applies to her role as a Loan Officer at Right Way Credit Union.
Natasha is dedicated to understanding and meeting the financial needs of each Right Way Credit Union member, ensuring our members receive personalised support when applying for a loan. Her passion for helping members allows them to feel valued and supported during this process.

Pauline joined Right Way in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience in customer service and a strong connection to our community through her previous work and volunteering with Right Way Credit Union.
Pauline plays a key role in supporting and assisting our members with their day-to-day enquiries. As the face of our front counter operations, Pauline ensures every member receives the best service from the moment they walk through our doors.
Pauline also oversees new member services, guiding them through the initial process of opening their account with detail and care. Her dedication to member support is at the heart of our mission to provide exceptional service.
June has been a key part of our Credit Union for over 10 years as a dedicated employee, following an impressive 23 years of volunteering. As a Front Counter Member Services Officer at our Greenock branch, June is a familiar and welcoming face that members look forward to seeing during their visits.
With a wealth of experience across various roles including loan officer, cash handling, and member services, June is highly skilled when it comes to assisting members with their needs efficiently and professionally.
June’s dedication to providing exceptional member service is enhanced by her ongoing professional development, including Excel and Customer Service training. Whether addressing general member enquiries or offering tailored assistance, her expertise and friendly approach make her an invaluable member of the Right Way Credit Union team.
Laura’s journey with the Credit Union began in May 2014, following a period of volunteering and is based in our Greenock branch. Over the years, Laura has taken on many roles within the credit union, gaining a thorough understanding of our operations and member needs.
As a Member Services Officer, Laura is committed to providing excellent member service, both in person and over the phone. Working on the front counter Laura is a friendly face for those who visit Greenock. Laura’s wealth of experience ensures that members feel supported with their enquiries providing guidance and solutions to those who visit.

Demi joined our Greenock branch in 2015 as the Schools Development Officer, where she was instrumental in educating and supporting our younger members on the value of credit unions. With a strong background in customer service, Demi excelled in engaging directly with members, always prioritising member interaction and hands-on support.
In 2020, during the challenges of COVID, Demi moved into the role of Credit Control Officer. Embracing this new role, Demi found a strong passion and fulfilment in her work and has continued to thrive ever since. Demi is approachable and offers compassionate support to members, ensuring they feel heard and supported.

Elizabeth plays a key role in welcoming new members to the Credit Union and ensuring they have a smooth and positive experience from the very beginning of their membership journey. As the first point of contact for many of our members, she is dedicated to providing a friendly, approachable, and professional service, helping applicants through every stage of the membership process.
Elizabeth is responsible for joining new members, following up with applicants to help them complete their applications, and answering any questions they may have along the way. She also supports members who are requesting to close their accounts, ensuring every enquiry is handled with care, understanding, and efficiency.
In addition to her office-based responsibilities, Elizabeth supports the Marketing team at local community events, promoting services, engaging with prospective members, and helping to build strong relationships within the communities we serve. Her welcoming approach and commitment to excellent member service make her a a valued member of the team both in the office and out in the community.
Roisin joined our team in November 2025 as our Social Media Content Creator. Her role entails planning and creating engaging social media content across platforms, building on over two years of hands-on experience managing TikTok and Instagram in fast-paced hospitality and retail settings. She produces short-form video content from concept to edit, using trend awareness and creativity to grow audience engagement.
Working closely with Paula, she collaborates on content planning and campaign delivery to ensure a consistent and effective brand presence. Together, they also attend local events to stay active in the community, capturing real-time content and strengthening audience connection.
Alongside this, Roisin applies insights from her MSc in Marketing and her BA (Hons) in History to shape content that is both data-informed and story-driven, regularly using analytics to refine performance. She also focuses on making financial topics clear and accessible, creating content that connects with the community while staying true to the organisation’s values.
