Talk Money Week 2025 (3rd – 7th November)

Talk Money Week 2025

Let’s Start the Conversation…

It’s Talk Money Week (3rd – 7th November), a national campaign that encourages people across the UK to talk more openly and confidently about money.

Led by MoneyHelper and the Money and Pensions Service, the campaign’s theme this year is Start the Conversation.

Because when we talk about money, whether that’s with friends, family, colleagues or our credit union, we make better decisions, feel more in control, and build stronger financial habits for the future.

At Right Way Credit Union, we see every day how small, open conversations can make a big difference. Money talk doesn’t need to be awkward or intimidating, it can be positive, practical, and empowering.

Whether you’re thinking about:

  • Saving for the future or setting up a Christmas Saver account
  • Borrowing affordably for something important
  • Or managing your money through our payroll savings and loans

We’re here to make those conversations simple, human, and judgement-free.

What’s happening during Talk Money Week

There’s a lot happening across the UK this week, both online and within local communities. If you’d like to get involved or learn more, here are just a few examples of what’s on:

  • Online sessions and webinars exploring topics like pensions, savings confidence, and the link between money and wellbeing
  • In-person workshops run by local organisations to help people build everyday money skills and share good habits
  • Community drop-ins where you can chat informally about budgeting, planning, or simply ask questions in a supportive environment
  • Employer events focused on financial wellbeing at work, including how payroll saving can make life a little easier
