We recently received some wonderful feedback from Zoe who has been with Right Way Credit Union for a few years now. The feedback was so good that we asked Zoe to answer a few questions on her recent experience and how Right Way Credit Union helped her.
We absolutely LOVE hearing from our members and want to thank Zoe for taking the time to share her feedback.
Feedback is invaluable in helping us ensure we’re providing the best possible service here at Right Way. It also lets us identify areas where we can improve and better meet your needs. Keep sharing your experiences with us and you can do so by emailing info@rwcu.co.uk
How long have you been a member of the Credit Union?
I have had my credit union account for many years. It’s a great way to save for a holiday, Christmas or a specific event.Â
You recently applied for a loan; in your own words can you tell us how the process was?
I was going abroad for private surgery and the available date I was given from the hospital was much sooner than I anticipated, and I didn’t have time to save up for this, so I reached out to the credit union for a loan for the first time.Â
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the whole process was. I applied online via the app which was quick and very simple. I received an email straight away to say my loan application was being considered and the next morning received an email to say I had been accepted along with the loan agreement for me to sign and date but at this point I realised I hadn’t borrowed enough to cover my flights and spending money as well so I called the Right Way and asked if I could increase the amount I’d borrowed. This was no problem at all and I didn’t need to cancel and reapply.Â
Louise at the credit union was very friendly and helpful and just edited my loan and sent over a new loan agreement straight away which I signed and dated. I then received another email to say the funds would be in my account in 48 hours but to my surprise they were in my account within the hour.Â
The interest was a lot less than I would have paid via a mainstream bank as well.Â
I took the loan over 3 years with the intention of paying it over 18 months just to make sure I didn’t put any pressure on myself if some months I can’t afford to pay more.
Would you borrow from the Credit Union again?
I will definitely borrow from the credit union again if I need to as the interest rate is much lower than any other lender.Â
What would you tell people who are thinking about joining the Credit Union?
I think everyone should have a credit union account, it’s a fantastic way to save and even if it’s a small amount every month, you don’t notice it leaving your bank, but it adds up quickly in your credit union account and a massive help around Christmas time. You can increase or decrease the amount you save very easily to suit your current situation.Â
Would you recommend the Credit Union?
I would highly recommend the credit union. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the process to Save, withdraw money or borrow is so streamlined to make it quick and easy and this can all be done via the app or by phone.Â
Are there any other comments you’d like to add?
The Credit Union has been a great help for me over the years. But most recently being able to borrow money so quickly and easily has been life changing for me.Â
